Robert Korman, MD

I am a General Psychiatrist with over 30 years of clinical experience of direct patient care. I have a special interest in treating individuals with Mood Disorders, Anxiety, PTSD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, Substance Use Disorders and other Mental Health Conditions. The early part of my career I worked as a hospital-based psychiatrist seeing patients who were admitted to the hospital psychiatric unit, partial hospital program or intensive out-patient program. I also saw patients as a psychiatric consultant for Emergency Room and Medically admitted patients. More recently I practiced in Maryland employed by a small private out-patient with a focus on substance use disorders and General psychiatry. In July 2024 I returned to the state of Tennessee where I had started my career by completing my Psychiatric Residency at East Tennesse State University.
