About Us
Ally Psychiatry, a division of River Region Psychiatry Associates, was founded by Dr. Shankar Yalamanchili (Dr. Chili) in 2008 in Montgomery, AL. Our team, which includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, Counselors, and office staff, provides care both in clinics and at 40+ hospitals and facilities across several states. Dr. Chili’s vision has always been to improve access to mental health care for those who need it most.
Believing in the mind-body connection, Ally Psychiatry has expanded services to include outpatient offices, hospitals, and mental health centers throughout the Southeast. We serve each patient as a whole person, embracing the diversity of every community. Ally Psychiatry offers both in-office and telemedicine visits because your mental health matters—wherever you are.
