Janeice Everhart is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of professional experience in residential, outpatient and private practice settings. She completed her graduate and un-dergraduate degrees at Mississippi State University. Janeice worked for many years at residential and outpatient substance use treatment facilities treating clients and their fami-lies. She has extensive experience in working with clients who are licensed professionals who have experienced career difficulties due to behavioral and substance use struggles. In 2021, she transitioned to private practice and completed Eye Movement Desensitization and Repro-cessing (EMDR) training and Intuitive Eating training. Her passion is helping clients recover and thrive in life with focus areas of substance use, codependency, trauma, disordered eating and mood disorders. She values creating safety in the therapeutic environment so that cli-ents can process without judgement. Her approach is integrative and adaptive to clients’ needs based on her training and experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner watching movies, building LEGO, playing video games and exploring the local foodie scene. She is an animal lover and current-ly has 3 dogs and a cat.
