Dr. King is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who holds dual medical licenses in Tennessee and the District of Columbia. He graduated from American University of the Caribbean and completed dual residencies in neurology and psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and Howard University Hospital, Washington, DC. After completion of his residencies, Dr. King became board certified by the American Academy of Neurology and Psychiatry in 2001.
Dr. King relocated to Franklin to begin working with Tennessee Psychiatry in 2022. He currently supervises nurse practitioners in the Tennessee Psychiatry’s offices in Franklin and Jackson. Dr. King’s objective is to treat patients with respect, aiding them in their journey towards enhanced mental health and emotional well-being.
