Rebecca Sheree Bodiford is a Licensed Psychologist (AL #2004) and received her Ph.D. in Combined-Integrated Clinical and Counseling Psychology from The University of South Alabama in 2014. She completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at Lawrence Hall Youth Services through The Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s Community Leadership Internship Consortium in Chicago, Illinois during the 2013 – 2014 academic year.
After completing her Ph.D., she went on to complete additional specialized training in Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment at Glenwood Autism and Behavioral Health Center, Montgomery Clinic in 2015. Previously, she completed her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of South Alabama (2008 – 2010) and her B.S. in Psychology at Auburn University at Montgomery (Class of 2007). Since 2016, she has been a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Alabama, practicing in an outpatient setting, engaged in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with a specialized focus on the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities), differential diagnosis of mood, anxiety, trauma, and other related disorders, and the provision of evidenced based therapy treatment of Autism, mood, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
She joined Alabama Psychiatry/Ally Psychiatry in 2018, and continues to provide specialized psychological assessment of neurodevelopmental, mood, behavioral, and anxiety/trauma related disorders, as well as client-centered, evidence-based psychotherapy interventions for a variety of presenting problems, with special emphasis on complex mood, behavioral, Autism, and anxiety/trauma symptom presentations. In addition, she has a special interest in clinical supervision, at-risk populations, assisting organizations and clinicians in improving their clinical outcomes by implementing evidence-based practices, and providing consultation to community partners to expand mental health services in the region. She is a member of the Alabama Psychological Association (aPA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
