Melissa Norris is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and has almost 15 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field. Melissa has experience in a diverse range of patient populations ranging from adolescents to geriatric with high acuity mental health disorders and substance abuse. Her experience includes inpatient, outpatient, and incarceration settings from her years of psychiatric nursing and recent practice. She graduated with her nursing degree from Motlow State Community College in 2011 and later went on to receive both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
