Dena Peery

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 23 years of experience providing compassionate care to people of all ages. I hold a Bachelor of Nursing from Mountain State University and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatry from Walden University. I’m board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
I specialize in treating attention, mood, anxiety, psychotic, and trauma-related disorders. I prioritize patient-centered care, building strong relationships, and creating personalized treatment plans that include both medication and therapy options like cognitive-behavioral techniques and lifestyle changes.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about mental health education and staying updated on the latest research. I enjoy walking, practicing yoga and Pilates, and spending time with loved ones by the water.
